What it does
A chat bot that does the first ten minutes of every enquiry.
People look for a tradesperson at nine in the evening, on the sofa, on their phone. You are asleep or on a job. If nobody answers, most of them go back to Google and tap the next result. A bot will not close the sale for you, but it will keep someone on your page long enough to leave their number.
The bot is not a generic assistant bolted onto your site. We write its instructions ourselves using your services, the areas you cover, your prices where you want them shown, and how you talk to customers. It answers from that, and only that.
Takes the details that make a quote possible
When somebody sounds serious it asks for a name, a postcode and what the job actually is, then sends it over by email. You get an enquiry with enough in it to price, not a bare "call me".
Knows when to stop and hand over
If a question is beyond it, it says so and points them at your number or the enquiry form. It does not guess a price, invent a date, or waffle to fill the silence.

One takes the enquiry. One gives a price.
They are different tools and they sit on different plans. The lead bot comes with Growth. The quote bot is an Elite extra that sits on top of it, it does not replace it.

Chats, answers, qualifies and passes you the enquiry. It talks about price ranges only if you have given us ranges to talk about. Otherwise it says you will confirm, which is the honest answer anyway.
Quote bot · Elite, £150 a month
Asks a handful of questions about the job, then puts a figure on screen while the visitor is still reading. You set the rates it works from, so it will never quote a job on numbers you would not accept.

Being straight with you
What it will not do.

It will not make a price up
If you have not given us numbers, it will not guess at one. It says you will confirm and takes their details instead. A bot that invents a figure costs you far more than one that says "we will come back to you".
It will not pretend to be you
It introduces itself as a helper for your business. Customers work out very quickly when they are being fooled, and it never ends well for the business doing the fooling.

The lead bot on Growth will only quote figures you have given us, and it says you will confirm when it does not know. The quote bot on Elite gives a proper figure on the spot, worked out from rates you set yourself.
